We’re looking for CLINIC/OUTREACH SUPERVISORS AND TEACHING ASSISTANTS. Clinic Supervisors and Teaching Assistants must be registered massage therapists with three (3) or more years experience, in good standing with the CMTBC, and hold an up-to-date first aid & CPR certificate. Applicants must have a vested interest in the development of future RMTs and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment.

Teaching Assistant

Hours: variable

 Job Description:

  • Supporting the primary instructor in delivery and instruction of course material
  • Accessibility to students, answering questions regarding demos

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTBC
  • 2500 hours or a minimum of 2 years working as an RMT

  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Flexible schedule

Clinic Supervisor

 Job Description:

  • Support and guide students in the public intern clinic
  • Complete evaluations and ensure students are meeting term specific clinic expectations

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTBC
  • 2500 hours or a minimum of 2 years working as an RMT

CLINIC/OUTREACH SUPERVISOR: Assist and support students in applying their theoretical knowledge to the practice of massage therapy and work towards integration of the educational program as a whole. Perform direct student supervision including tutorial instruction, treatment demonstration, student evaluation and feedback, both on-site and outreach clinical settings, as set out in the practicum instruction schedule.

TEACHING ASSISTANT: Assist the primary instructor in all aspects of curriculum presentation in the classroom including practical demonstration, tutorial assistance, attendance records, audio-visual technical assistance and general duties that may arise in the classroom, as directed by the primary instructor for the smooth operation and organization of classes.
