We are proud to announce the 2015 Cory Mintz Scholarship has been awarded to WCCMT – Victoria student Ashley Hawkes.
Ashley is committed to being involved with various organizations within her community, including volunteering as a support worker for a boy with autism and as an assistant coach for the Special Olympics working with children and young adults. Ashley also volunteered at the Eagle Park Health Care Facility supporting residents with dementia and working along side the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist. For the past seven years Ashley has volunteered for the Nanoose Bay Fire Department as a First Responder and is looking forward to being a part of a multidisciplinary team upon completion of the RMT program.
