Check out our Competency-Based Mastery Level Training
Upon successful completion of our Competency-Based Massage Therapy Diploma our graduates spend the next two weeks in class preparing for the certification exams. Our students say that the mock exams that we prepare are more difficult than the actual exams. Our graduates are therefore prepared to confidently sit and successfully complete the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario’s certification exams for entry to practice as a Registered Massage Therapist.
The two exams are as follows:
- MCQ – Multiple Choice Questions
Designed to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in the three competency areas of health sciences, professional development and clinical science.
- OSCE – Objectively Structured Clinical Evaluation
This is the clinical component of the certification exams. Designed to evaluate both the student’s knowledge and application of skill, and to test the ability to safely and effectively apply the principles and processes of Massage Therapy practice given a different number of clinical scenarios.
