Teaching Assistant: Spinal Orthopedic Treatment

WCCMT Victoria is recruiting teaching assistants for our Registered Massage Therapy program.  We offer a collaborative working environment, flexible schedule, and competitive compensation.

Start Date: May 2023

Hours: 42 hours (3-hour sessions roughly once/week over 15 weeks)
Must be available on Thursdays from 1:00 – 4:30

Course: Spinal Orthopedic Treatment  

Course Description: This course introduces students to the topic of Spinal Orthopedics, specifically this course will assist students in acquiring knowledge and skills to assess and treat pathological conditions of the axial skeleton.

Job Description:

• To assist Instructors in curriculum delivery and other duties relating to instruction.
• Accessibility to students, answering questions regarding information provided by primary instructor.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTBC
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in the Massage Therapy field.
• Local to Victoria, must be available to teach on campus

• Strong organizational skills
• MS office knowledge including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
