Teacher's Assistants

WCCMT New Westminster is currently hiring Teacher’s Assistants for our Practical Department.  There are multiple openings for September 2012, including Clinic Supervisor and Outreach Instructor positions.  Positions are negotiated on a term by term contract.

Applicants must:

• Be in good standing with the CMTBC
• Have at least 2000 hours of clinical experience
• Have up to date First Aid and CPR level “C”
• Have a desire to help educate and mentor the future of our profession

 Duties include:

•  Supporting the Primary Instructor during class time
• Marking Oral Practical Exams
• One on one and group interaction with students
• Assisting students with biomechanics and mastery of techniques as taught by the Primary Instructor
