Registered Massage Therapist:
Modern Medical Clinic in New Westminster has an opening for an RMT.
This clinic has 2 Chiropractors, an Office Manager and Secretary. The clinic has fully equipped room and uses EMR for patient records.
Clinic is on a Highly Visible and High Traffic location with plenty of Parking for patients.
Applicants must be Registered Massage Therapist, Self-Motivated, organized and have a strong work ethic.
New RMT Graduates are Welcome to Apply.
Compensation is percentage split (based on experience).
Job Description:
Assess client’s soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion.
Confer with patients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful.
Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used.
Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissue of the human body in order to provide courses of treatment for medical conditions and injuries or wellness maintenance.
Consult with other health care professionals such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, physicians and psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for patients.
Maintain treatment records.
Provide patients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement, stretching and strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises.
