Key Responsibilities:
Perform all 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute massage and body treatments, as certified/trained to do.
Active participation in learning spa’s operations, i.e. body treatments, product knowledge, retail sales, Energy Masters Program.
Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectation.
Maintain clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment in safe working order.
Maintain current professional licenses, CPR, First Aid.
Adhere to Body Tech. safety procedures and practises and departmental Emergency Procedures/Safety Manual.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
Attend Body Technician departmental communication meetings as scheduled.
Support other teams within department as required, i.e. Spa Attendants, Spa Reception.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 6 months experience in spa industry.
2200 hour course.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of massage with a massage license.
Registered within province of Alberta prior to beginning employment.
Safety Oriented First Aid CPR – Basic Rescuer
Physical Demands (May not apply to all positions):
Lifting -Under 20lbs 10% of work time.
Pushing -35lbs pressure through wrists 80% of work time.
Motions -Bending, standing, reaching, and working with hands, arms, and fingers continuously throughout workday.
Work Environment -Indoors, with very limited exposure to sunlight.
