WCCMT Curriculum

Each term our students learn new skills and information to help them prepare you for the semester ahead. To progress to the next term, students are required to successfully complete and pass all courses within the term.Â
Curriculum hours for our 2023 program of study are set by WCCMT and curriculum content is based on the Guidelines for Foundational Knowledge in Massage Therapy Education Program Document (2016) (GFK) and the Inter-Jurisdictional Performance Competencies and Performance Indicators for Massage Therapists at Entry to Practice Document (2016) (IJPCPI), which form the blue print for entry to practice exams held by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.Â
Our program is structured across the 5 terms. To get a better idea of what your timetable could look like, view our sample timetable.

Practical Clinical InternshipÂ
Our curriculum incorporates 350 hours of practical, hands-on experience, encompassing our public clinic, InReach and outreach initiatives where students get to practice what they learned in the classroom on public patients experiencing a wide range of conditions.Â
