If you are a WCCMT grad and have considered or are considering a potential career as an instructor at WCCMT we invite you to apply to be a part of our Grad Tutor Program.
What does our Grad Tutor Program involve?
Grad Tutors are graduates who devote a minimum of one hour per week to come into the College and tutor or hold a tutorial session with a group of students largely in terms 1 & 2 and primarily in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, MSAK Lab and Clinical Assessment.
The Grad Tutor program begins at 4pm in the afternoon and can involve one or two hours of instruction as per our grad tutor’s availability and student interest.
What are the benefits of becoming a WCCMT Grad Tutor?
- Grad Tutors have access, free of charge, to WCCMT’s online Instructor Development Program which provides valuable instructional training.
- Grad Tutors are given first priority in terms of any teaching opportunities either as teaching assistants or clinical instructors once the Grad Tutor has met their required 2500 hours of practical experience.
- Grad Tutors have access, free of charge, to our Student Intern Clinic.
- Grad Tutors will also be our primary candidates for WCCMT’s coveted leadership award.
