This year marks a very important year in the life of WCCMT. This year the College turns 35 years old .
To celebrate this milestone occasion, we are planning a very special event for all WCCMT alumni on Friday May 25, 2018 from 1:30pm – 9:00pm.
Continuing Education Workshops
The celebration will begin with the offering of three different continuing education workshops, which will run simultaneously from 1:30pm – 4:30pm. Each workshop offers valuable information to enhance your practice and is facilitated by a highly respected BC RMT and of course WCCMT alumni.
- Robert Libbey – “Techniques for the Elbow, Wrist and Hand”
- Mike Dixon – “The Five-Step Approach to Treating Sciatic”
- Taylor Laviolette – “Bridging the Gap. Deconstruction of the biomechanical, postural, pathoanatomical models and an intro into rethinking treatment planning in the context of the biopsychosocial model”
A nominal fee of $35 is required to secure your seat at the workshop of your choice. Space is limited and registration is open now via email to [email protected]. Deadline is Friday February 23, 2018.
All-Years Reunion Dinner Social
Immediately following the workshops the College will be hosting a complimentary all-years reunion dinner social. Activities include a brief reception followed by a buffet-style dinner and social where there will be lots of time to catch up with old classmates, faculty and staff.
Throughout the evening we will feature a “The Way We Were, the Way We Are” slideshow presentation and there will be a photo booth on hand to capture new memories. Although the reunion dinner/social is complimentary an RSVP is required via email to [email protected].
As we would like to ensure that as many graduating classes as possible can be featured in our slideshow we are actively seeking pictures from alumni. Should you have photos of your time with us at WCCMT that you would like to share please forward them to [email protected].
Whether you became part of the WCCMT family during our early years in downtown Vancouver (Chinatown, Yaletown or Harbour Centre) or at our present location on Columbia Street in New Westminster we sincerely hope that you will be able to join us at the New Westminster campus on Friday May 25, 2018 as we celebrate 35 years of WCCMT family and legacy.
