Requirements

It is expected that students must attend the mandatory Clinical Practicum Orientation and all scheduled shifts for the respective term.

Each clinic shift is 4.5 hours in duration. Clinic does not run during the last two weeks of any given term, due to final oral practical and written examinations. Each student is scheduled to work in the Student Intern Clinic one evening per week during Terms 2, 3 & 4, and the Community Clinic one evening per week during Terms 3 & 4.

Prior to graduation, all students must complete a minimum of 350 hours in the Clinical Practicum.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure all clinic requirements are met prior to graduation.
