What are the start dates?
At CCMH Halifax new massage therapy courses start every Spring and Fall.

Is financial assistance available?
The Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy offers a program of study which is registered under the Private Career Colleges Act, therefore financial assistance may be available to eligible students. To apply for student aid, go to www.canlearn.ca. If you are eligible for 3rd party funding and require additional information, please contact Sheri Paris, Financial Aid Officer at [email protected] or 902-484-0188.

What is the cost of tuition?
The cost of completing the MT training program is $17,900.00 plus books and supplies.

Do you have campus tours?
Yes. Tours of the Halifax campus are by appointment please contact Admissions at 902-484-0158 or [email protected]. We also offer “Student for a Day” for prospective students wanting to explore a career in massage therapy. High school students can arrange job-shadowing by having their school councillor contact CCMH admissions.

Is there a charge for the Student for a Day?
Student for a Day is free as are our monthly Admission Information Sessions and semiannual Open Houses. These are available to prospective students investigating a career in massage therapy who wish to experience first-hand what CCMH has to offer.

What are your prerequisites for admission into your massage therapy diploma program?
Applicants must have a of high school diploma or equivalent.  Applicants are required to have successfully completed both the Introduction to Massage course and Medical Terminology & Body Systems course. A complete outline of prerequisites can be found here.

How can I determine if a course I have taken elsewhere will meet the prerequisite requirements at CCMH?
Applicants with previous relevant education are encouraged to submit a CCMH Halifax PLA Application form along with your application package to see how we can minimize both your course load and costs. Use your Science credits/degree to give yourself a head start in completing our Massage Therapy Diploma program
