Every week, we post a Trivia question on our Facebook and Instagram.

Our trivia tuesdays include facts and questions from our Massage Therapy learning curriculum to challenge our prospective students, current students, alumni, instructors/staff and now… you! To catch you up on this month’s trivia, we’ve compiled questions and answers to test your knowledge!

This question had everyone stumped! The nervous system has many roles…

One user got this right away! They knew zoonoses were…

A: Diseases of animals that may be transmitted to people under certain conditions!

Three users were able to get this immediately! They said it’s…

A: An abnormal positioning of the head and neck relative to the body!

The cervical spine has various important roles in the body. It…

A: Facilitates the transfer or weight and bending movements of the head, and protects the brainstem, spinal cord and various neurovascular structures as they transit the neck and when they enter/exit the skull.

And finally two-part trivia to end the month! A hematoma is…

A: A large area of local hemorrhage following a trauma. The pooling blood causes swelling and pain as it compresses nearby nerve endings. A hematoma may be treated medically by aspirating the blood!

Make sure to check in as we continue to post Trivia Tuesdays on our Facebook and Instagram pages!
