We love to follow our alum through all steps in their journey! We previously spoke to Joseph Khouzam about his student life while attending CCMH, and what had driven him towards Massage Therapy. This time around, we’ve had the pleasure of being updated about his career as an RMT and his headspace now! “I enjoy being an RMT, I have deep pride in being a healthcare practitioner. Why become an RMT?

Students of all ages attend CCMH to pursue their dream career of becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. Some students know right out of high school, and others discover their interest in Massage Therapy later in life or as a second career. Our students are passionate about their studies and we’re dedicated to helping them succeed. They’ve explained what inspired and drove them to become the RMTs they are today – and perhaps it’ll spark a passion in you! Ilona Valitskaya, originally from Russia, discovered she wanted to be an RMT while working as a gymnastics coach. After speaking to an RMT who treated athletes during a competition and she decided Massage Therapy was right for her. “I’ve always had passion in health, always knew that I had to treat people and see how people are healing with my hands,” said Ilona.
