1. Proof of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
You must at a minimum have a high school diploma, or equivalent. Applicants who do not have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent must write and pass the Canadian Achievement Survey Test (CAST) administered by the college.
2. Language Skills
If your first language is not English and you did not complete secondary school in English, you must meet the fluency standards based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) scale: Listening: 6 Reading: 6 Speaking: 6 Writing: 6
A CLB or Michener English Language Assessment (MELA) report must be provided with your application package.
MANDATORY PRE-REQUISTE COURSE (PRACTICAL)
3. Introduction to Massage Course
This course is required if you do not have any previous formal massage training. Massage Therapy is a lot more than giving family and friends massages. In order to gain this experience and ensure that this career is for you, enroll in CCMH’s Introduction to Massage course which is held at the college 6 times per year. Fee for the course is $200.

4. Medical Terminology Systems (MTS) Course
This course is highly recommended if you do not have any previous science background. The MTS course is provided online and opens the first day of each month and closes the last day of the same month. Students have one (1) month to complete the course working at their own pace. This course is provided as a free services to you. A textbook is required: Medical Terminology Systems ISBN: 978-0-8036-2954-7. The book can be purchased on your own, or you can pay a deposit of $60 and borrow the text from CCMH. The deposit will be returned to you once the book is returned. If you have a post secondary health science background please contact Admissions to see if you qualify for a Prior Learning Assessment.
